Heated Storage
Demand for Yacht Works' heated
storage kept our first two heated buildings fully occupied for several years. We
added heat to a third (off-site) building in 2002. Boats in these buildings are kept
comfortably at 50 degrees F or above, year round.
The 'Old Stage' Storage
Facility
About a mile from our marina, the "Old Stage" Buildings
include our earliest expansion (buildings 6,7, and 8,) unheated but fully enclosed and
secure storage. A bit down the road are Building 10 (heated), and our new (2002)
building 12, which can (will) be converted to heated storage when needed.
Keeping Your Masts Under Cover
Yacht Works keeps masts
and standing rigging stored under cover at our marina. Our expert crew has developed
a system of derigging, storage, and rigging that ensures your boat is ready to sail in the
spring, and performs at her best. Running and standing rigging are annually checked
top, bottom, and in-between as part of our rigging services.

Lots of Storage Space
Almost all our boat storage had been in totally enclosed
buildings, until recently. In 2001, we added a dual purpose building (11,) open on
two sides and located at our marina site. This building provides cover for special
vessels requiring unheated storage in winter (classic wood yachts for example.) In
addition, in summer it provides a great place for our customers and slip holders to park.
In our climate storage is so important to boat ownership that we
are continually upgrading and expanding our facilities to better serve our
customers. Watch us grow!!
